Volunteer Schedule & Registration: 2010

Help a deserving Lexington family have a home! All types of volunteers are needed from highly skilled to just eager to help. Registration is essential so we can balance our volunteer workforce and plan for the complimentary lunches we will serve on the job site!

Time: 8:30 - 3:30 each work day

Volunteers must be 16 years of age -- volunteers under 18 years of age need a signed release (download) from a parent or guardian.

Also, some dates have no "checkbox" -- this means that the day will be staffed by professional trade people only, or that the day is in reserve in case adjustments need to be made in the schedule.

ATTENTION VOLUNTEERS
Because of the rain we had in late June and early July, the schedule had to be moved back by about one week. The following reflects this new schedule.

All dates and tasks are subject to change depending on weather, volunteer numbers, trades work, lot conditions, etc.
Rain Garden Way is a fairly wide circle/cul-de-sac, so there shouldn't be too many parking issues. There are permeable pavement in some areas that is not ideal for parking, but it happens ... right now there are 3 builds going on at that street, and parking so far has not been an issue.
In case of rain/inclement weather, volunteers can call our workday status line at 252-2224, and as soon as the automated answer picks up, dial "5". This extension is updated every morning there is a build at 7:45am. If a build day is cancelled because of rain, this is the best method for volunteers to find out, so that you don't go to the site.
