Project Photos: The Garlington Home

Once again Ernie Stamper is our project photographer. He has decided to use "SmugMug" to present the photos because of its ability to provide the surest delivery of high resolution images.

Ernie will be adding to it as the building proceeds, but the first full day is always fun to capture, so many photos, and this year he also included the day for layout. This gallery should be very friendly to all browsers and screen sizes. His normal instructions are as follows, but you can decide if all would be needed in this instance:

"You can use the gallery to watch a slide show by selecting the Slideshow button at the top right of the screen. Click Esc or the Return to Gallery button to end the slide show and go back to the initial page. There you can click on any thumbnail photo to see a larger image.

To see the various size options for downloading a photo, place the cursor on the right edge of the enlarged image, and left click on the size you want to download, then right-click to get the option to Save or download.

For a full screen view of a single photo double click on the enlarged image. If a screen saver activates during the slideshow, it may reset and the slideshow may need to be launched again."

A word from your Webmaster: I've tested this on my big Windows XP/Pro machine on the 22" monitor and on one of the 19" monitors -- both with excellent results. Also tested it on my Mac OS-X machine with a 17" monitor -- the slides were stunning.

Ernie reports that the gallery is setup to allow free downloading, as well as viewing. The "Buy" button only refers to buying prints from the site host. Here's the link to the gallery.
